You can click on the "+Add" opinion button at the top of the application screen to add an opinion. You can also add an opinion through your MySpace profile from the Minekey profile box. Please also choose a category and add a few topic "tags" to help other users find your opinion when they do a search.
How do you edit or delete an opinion you have created?
There is currently no way to edit an opinion. But if you make a mistake or change your mind you can delete an opinion that you have created by clicking on the "delete" link in the lower left corner of the individual opinion page and start over. This will delete all activity connected to that opinion.
What is considered abuse or harassment on Minekey?
While we support Freedom of Speech and the right of our community members to express themselves openly, we want everyone to feel safe. Our policies regarding appropriate behavior within the community are spelled out in our Terms of Use and Code of Conduct .
What do I do if I find an explicit, hateful, racist, sexist or otherwise objectionable opinion or comment on Minekey?
If the comment is on your own My Opinions page, you can delete it yourself. You can help us out by notifying us of any objectionable opinions or comments. You can report offensive content by clicking on the "Report Abuse" link located at the bottom of the opinion´s page. Minekey will review your complaint and will contact the user and block them or remove their opinions and comments as needed to ensure all users comply with our Terms of Use .
How do I report abuse or harassment?
If someone is harassing you or engaging in behavior that violates the Terms of Use or Code of Conduct , please report this person immediately by clicking on the Report Abuse link.
How can I find the opinions I have voted or commented on?
You can track all of your own activity by clicking on the My Opinions link at the top of the page. On your personalized My Opinions page you can find tabs for all your various activities including which opinions you voted on, shared with friends, commented on, etc.
How do I know when other people have commented on my opinions?
When somebody comments on one of your opinions we will send a notification to your Facebook profile. You may also find comments under the Track Comments tab at the top of your My Opinions page.
How do I delete an offensive note somebody else has made on my Minekey page?
You may delete any notes another Minekey user has made on your My Opinions page by clicking the "delete" link. In the spirit of Minekey, we would ask that you only delete notes that are a violation of the Minekey Terms of Use and Code of Conduct and not just because somebody disagrees with you.
How do I make suggestions for new features or report bugs or other problems I am experiencing?
The best place to make feature suggestions or report problems you are experiencing is on the Minekey Profile Page. You will also find a variety of discussion forums here. You can easily find it by clicking on the "Minekey " link at the top of the application.
Does Minekey monitor or moderate the activity on its application?
Yes, the Minekey team is actively monitoring behavior on the application in a variety of ways. We also have a Catalyst Program through which Minekey users can also help generate conversations. If you are interested in becoming a Catalyst, please contact community@minekey.com
Why does Minekey not give users a neutral third voting option such as "No Opinion," or "Not sure" rather than just Agree/Disagree?
The Minekey creators think it is more interesting when community members take a stand pro or con. If a user does not have an opinion or cannot make up their mind, they are free to ignore or abstain on that topic. Users can also make comments to clarify their position even if they don´t agree or disagree.
How do I find opinions on topics that interest me?
There are two ways to find opinions. You can use the "search" box to find opinions on a particular topic. Or you can select a link in the Topics Cloud in the right column to find opinions on general subjects such as "Books" or "Movies."
How does one of my opinions become a most popular opinion?
The opinions with the most agree/disagree votes rise to the top of the Popular opinions index. Your best bet is to create a really unique, interesting or controversial opinion. It is also helpful for you to share the opinion with all your friends and make sure they vote. More tips can be found on our blog .
How do I get more people to comment on my opinions?
The first step is to create an interesting opinion really worthy of comments. It is also helpful if you monitor your opinion´s activity and respond to any comments made to keep the conversation going. People who actively comment on other people´s opinions also find that more people will comment on theirs.
How do I post a picture or video in the opinion's comments?
To embed a picture or video you will have to go to any of the approved media sites. Find or upload a picture or video that you want to add to an opinion discussion or a person's notes.
Then copy the embed code provided by the media site which can then be pasted into the comments field on any opinion on Minekey.com.

"Popular" Opinions—These are the most popular opinions as indicated by how many agree/disagree votes they received within the last 24 hours beginning at 12 midnight Greenwich mean (4 PM Pacific) time. "Active" Opinions—This is a dynamic index of Opinions with less than 100 votes that have experienced the most recent activity, including initial creation, voting and commenting. "Recent"Opinions—This is a dynamic index of the opinions most recently created by users. "My Opinions"—This is where you find all of your Minekey activity. Opinions you voted on, you shared, were shared with you, comments you made or were made on your opinions. "Track Comments"—is an index of all the comments that were made on your opinions by other community members. "Similarity"—Allows you to see whether your friends agreed/disagreed with opinions and how similar you are in your thinking.
