US Election08: Do you agree with McCain's Health Care policy?

"Provide healthcare tax dividends to low-income people, and a refundable tax credit of $2,500 to all individuals and $5,000 for families. Reform the tax code to support health savings accounts. Help small businesses bargain collectively for lower rates from providers. Toughen malpractice laws to protect doctors who obey clinical guidelines and adhere to safety protocols. Increase funding for healthcare information systems. Foster greater competition for drugs and better access to generics."

Having a Health Savings Account (HSA) myself, I can honestly say that it works. It is a high-deductible, low-cost alternative to socialized health-care. The best part is, whatever funds that I do not use during the year, I get to keep. I can roll it over to the next year. In fact, if you are healthy, your savings build like an IRA. Plus, I really like the fact that I can use it anywhere. I don't have to worry about whether or not an HMO is going to cover me. This is the answer!

What good is 2,500 going to do when I can barely afford to but food, when health care costs more than that, when I struggle to keep a roof over my head, when I have bills to pay... people aren't going to use that money for health care costs they are going to use it to take care of their immediate needs and the health care issues that we have now will persist.

provide free healthcare to low income people - coz a tax dividend does not and will not gurantee access.

I don't think that John McCain would be a great, nice person, i said it over and over again, HE IS THE NEW GEORGE BUSH. the health policy doesn't must a discussion point. that would be a priority, shouldn't compare with the other candidate. But i preffer Obama.

I'm not going to see only the rich getting good health care, it's sickening. This is the land of the free, which needs everyone is entitled to good affordable health care.

nonsense, land of the free and entitlement to healthcare do not go together atleast not with the government. Government shouldn't even be in healthcare. They are usually the ones that screw everything up. If they didn't make things so difficult i'm sure the US would have a much better helthcare system
