If there are sacrifices in love then there are no expectations...

and if there are expectations, probably it is not love as love is selfless

It's a balance of both... We can live a fiction but love (the one you call true one) isn't only a GIVE it's GIVE&TAKE... If you agree to give and have nothing in return you are mad...if you only take you're selfish...
